You forgot the bandits were humanoids, floromancer's favored opponent, then you forgot to use your monstrous humanoid favored opponent dice against the goblins.

Great catches, thanks. Yeah I wanted to try my hand at two characters but I should stick to one for the main play as that may be a lot to manage.

Getting to the good parts! A couple rules notes: At 1:39 your crit on Navigate guarantees you don't wander and you Restore 1 (pg.12). I see you played two circumstances, because each triggered event tells you play a circumstance. I think what those entries are saying is "Play a Cirumstnace (in the circumstance phase), then do this event (in the event phase)." as they triggered events. It's just reminding you to do a circumstance (don't skip it), then do the event. you can do as many events as you want in one event phase, so since you triggered both, I'd do one circumstance, then do both events (046 and 004). Otherwise critting on explore/navigate is kind of a punishment. At 6:10 you say you would take a damage for getting to 0 energy, you wouldn't as it's just a normal energy attack, not energy drain, so you would just stay at 0. At 7:28, target is determined by rolling one d10 for each hero, higher gets hit. At around 10:22, I don't think your explanation of Outlast combat is correct (pg 19). For each hero, you select 1 action, either to take an action as normal (attack, defend, mastery) or to roll a stat test against one of the available stats indicated on the encounter at the top. If you choose to roll a stat test and succeed you do extra outlast (-1 for success, -2 for crit). Separately, when the enemy takes an action, you consult the stat immunity icon of the attack, and any hero who performed that stat test and succeeded previously avoids the effect. But if you didn't choose the right stat to roll as your action and succeed, you take full effect and -0 outlast. You don't get to roll the stat test when the enemy attacks unless you chose that as your action. The "those who fail" is confusing, it should be written as "Those who fail or did not roll and succeed on this test". So Kik would only reduce outlast for his attack test IF the opponent did the 1-2 action. Then you had Craig roll a health test, but said he was immune to the 3-4 (defense test) action. And then Kik would not roll a test, he would simply take the effect. You then reduced Kik's health when it was not an energy drain attack, so it should have done nothing.

I don't know if that is accurate for the circumstance phase. In the first video the writer commented and said I played it correctly. So if you crit you do roll on the table. I'll have to recheck Outlast. I'm also not sure that's accurate as I checked out Jonathan's video on it to make sure I did it right. I'll recheck but it seems correct. I have been wrong before. Great catch on the Energy Damage and other items.

@@CanjeStudios I very much empathize that a lot of the rules can be hard to parse out or can lose loosely worded (I even tweaked my explanation of outlast above as I was wrong on one point). If you look up Jonathon's video of SoS titled: "SoS - 3 Hero Game - Part 1" at 1 hour 39 minutes, there's an example, he doesn't roll additional stat tests for each hero when the enemy chooses their action. We followed up on the Circumstance question for KM in the Discord under the thread titled "Draw a Circumstance" in TE in KM in the forums-kliks-madness forum and James said: "Right. :/ Again, I missed it was happening in the Skill phase, and thought it was just a phrasing issue with "Draw". Sorry for muddying the waters. I really needed to work around the Circumstance/Event phase situation, because while it works rather well in the core game (you're either on an Event location or you're not), it's far more convoluted in the campaign, just by virtue of the phrasing of "events" if nothing else, since an "Event" can happen technically in any phase. But yes, we never intended to double down on Circumstances like that, and I think we cleared things up in Fall of the Ancients / the Legends, where some Events just have you play a Circumstance at the beginning, and it's more explicitly stated which phase you should be in while reading them. " Ie he was noting that you played the circumstance right by using the table, and not drawing the card directly. Only made it 13 mins through the video last night, will continue if I'm not annoying you. =) I just know a lot of peeps eagerly look for playthroughs to learn the rules, the rules can be quite complex in these games, and I can tell you're a person who really does their homework to try to get things right, but I have played these games a BUNCH and still have lots of questions and end up asking in Discord. =)
