Rumor has it that Lasse was asked to write something in Italian, but since he didn't know Italian, he just listed menu items from a pizzeria.

It has already been a hit in Sweden, kind of, in the eighties when it was made. Also, Tobias Forge from Ghost has said that this song is one of his guilty pleasures and that if it was made in English it would have been an international hit. I myself love the original but this cover is still loads better than Lasse Holm's version. :)

I listened to the original here on youtube and it was actually really good. Catchy melody that haunts you afterwards. Agree that Tommy's version is much better though! Tobias Forge is an amazing musician and songwriter and Ghost are awesome. If he has said that about the song, it says a lot about it. Sommarplåga again now then? :)
