Cannes is located on the French Riviera in the South of France, is renowned for its beautiful beaches, luxury hotels, and the prestigious Cannes Film Festival. Cannes Film Festival is one of the most prestigious and publicized film festivals in the world.
Palais des Festivals et des Congrès is the main venue where screenings and other festival events take place.
I love Promenade de La Croisette which is the famous waterfront promenade lined with palm trees. It stretches along the coast of Cannes and is home to many of the city’s luxury hotels, boutiques, and restaurants. There are both public and private beaches along La Croisette, offering sunbathing and water activities.
Le Suquet is the old town in Cannes and is situated on a hill. In this area was my hotel. It offers narrow, winding streets, historical buildings, and panoramic views of the city and the sea. I didn’t visit the whole area but it includes the Musée de la Castre, housed in a medieval castle, and the Église Notre-Dame d’Espérance, a church dating back to the 16th century.
Cannes is famous for its high-end shopping, particularly along La Croisette and Rue d’Antibes, where you can find designer boutiques and luxury goods.
Cannes offers a range of dining options, from Michelin-starred restaurants to charming bistros and cafés serving Provençal cuisine. I had salmon for dinner and it was so tasty.
Cannes is a major hub for yachting, with its ports filled with luxury yachts, especially during the film festival season. The nearest major airport is Nice Côte d’Azur Airport, about 27 kilometers away. Cannes also has a smaller airport for private jets.
Cannes combines glamour, history, and natural beauty, making it a sought-after destination for all of us tourists, celebrities, and business people as well. I love Cannes and I can’t wait to be back.

@@magalifernandez4857 I feel you, I’m the same with London, loved here for almost 8 years and I need to live by the sea and have sun for at least few months and see if I can find a decent job and enjoy my life better than having winter time in the middle of the summer like we have now😂 somewhere South sounds just as good, places around Marseille are very beautiful❤️I wish you lots of success too❤️
