My absolute favourite thing about Paul's playing is when he plays rock solid alternating kick and snare "skank beat" or hammer blasts and plays completely disassociated right hand rhythms on the ride, it's not even 5 against 4 it's just kind of random but the kick and snare stays so tight, I have no idea how he does it. It just sounds chaotic and badass.
