i've always been a fan of metallica but never listened to any cannibal corpse but i was definately impressed by this cover. They are a solid band. hearing great bands do covers of other bands often gives me new found respect to the song they are covering. I've always loved no remorse but this cover made me hear it from a differant angle maybe more contemporary view which gives the song alot more credit itself

I'd been looking for this one for a while and if there was ever gonna be a death metal band capable of nailing such a great Metallica classic then it had to be CC. Brutal and honestly better than Metallica's original version, the tone gives a much more profound meaning to the song, the growling is exceptional. It ain't easy to do it on a much slower tempo than what they're accustomed to. The solos are better than Kirk's. I repeat I'm a great fan of Metallica's but anyone who knows how good Cannibal Corpse are shouldn't be surprised. Ace ace ace version! Yeah!

@TheFallen2898 Try listening to it. Load is an amazingly written album, and Reload has some kickass songs as well. St Anger is hard to listen to at first but is really badass once you get into it. As for Death Magnetic, it's arguably the most metal album they've ever made.
