honestly its good without the bass, bass ends up overblasting a lot of things and very over-used. Though it does sound a bit empty, it could probably use more a filler not Bass but perhaps a bit of smooth drums and piano as their other songs have a lot of that.

Incomplete Demos is kind of the Hawaii Part II Part II to the whole discography of Tallyhall. Not everything is unfinished, look at Inside the Mind of Simon, this version of Cannibal, the old demo of Night & Light, etc. But there's a lot of random stuff here, like just small test samples and sounds used in the songs.

Actually imo it fits the song pretty well like for the most popular interpretation of That song being that it’s about a toxic relationship, like to everyone outside it’s clear he’s unhappy and that’s she’s basically just using him but the song is from the perspective of the guy, to him even if he recognizes that she doesn’t love him and that he’s just a tool to satisfy her he chooses to ignore it for one of many reasons, either because he likes being in the position he’s in or because he honestly hasn’t felt happier with anyone else so to him a song about being treated like a cannibal’s snack is sunshine and rainbows
