Thanks for the recipe. I made it, let it soak 24 hours, and then blended with immersion blender right in the jar. It didn’t take it long at all to get thick. Thanks again!

If you'd drained some of the liquid off first then once the seeds were fairly well blended add the liquid in it will blend better and in less than half the time...good video, going to go look for more 😊

I have to tell you that I made your mustard and sold it along with my jams and jellies. Well it sold out! People loved it. I let them sample it with pretzels. When I made it I added about a quarter cup of local honey to it to tone it down a bit. It still had a bite. A gal that purchased some said she has had it with cranberries in it so I'm going to give that a try. Thanks for the video!

I am going to be making my own mustard after watching you. I see some glimmers of hope in the young, especially the new homesteaders with regards to getting back to the simple ways. Yesterday we went to a couple local Amish farms and got eggs, butter, dill, honey and fresh veggies. Seeing how the different families live was an experience Ill never forget. They were so kind and accommodating. The weather was perfect and scenery of the rolling hills just fabulous. I don’t think Ive ever experienced a more perfect day. We will be going back often. My husband and I love to support local farms as much as possible. I just love your videos. I just love working in my kitchen along with you and others who provide similar videos. Your food prep videos are a real treat. Keep em coming! God bless you for sharing. 💕

Ms. Lori, I am absolutely hooked on your videos. Just started watching about a month ago. I have already tried several of your recipes. Couldn’t find ASDA, but no big deal, I’ll find another organic on Amazon. I could sit & watch you all day, your voice is like the soothing sound of someone telling a bedtime story. I love your values, your morals & living life simply & the old ways we used to live. I admire & love all that you are doing. So glad you got to get a “She-Shed” too. I will keep watching every day. Lol, my hubby keeps wondering why I’m constantly going to the store to get things. God Bless you & Mr. Brown from Georgia.

I sure do like learning new things that being with my ex I would have never learned as he was a city boy all the way and did not believe in trying these things. But Mr Bruce is not a city boy and love learning new things as well. Mr Bruce is all about gardening and food storage and learning how to can . Yea! We’re out in the sticks and want property so we can have a huge garden and not a small garden. My mom did have a small garden sometimes but never did any canning and my first husband was not going to nor a garden. Like I’ve told Bruce my ex can have the city. I hate traffic and crowds. Our town has 1,200 people and we have to go 34 miles to a town of 12,000 people to go to Walmart which is fine. Thanks for sharing.

I'm really glad to get this recipe, Lori! It resembles Boetje's Mustard (made locally to me), which has long been my favorite, but the stores closest to me are no longer carrying it. So, being able to make it myself, instead of running all over the area to find it, makes me very happy. So does the price. Roughly $20 for the seeds, when that same amount of money will only get me 6 small jars of Boetje's. Yet another reason we can. :) I'm adding the seeds to my Amazon order list!

I watched this awhile back and ordered seed to make this and put them to soak overnight like in the video and just took my first batch out and will put away on a shelf and let sit for the 4 weeks and use in baskets for Christmas for one of the items in said baskets as gifts. Hoping my husband likes it as well. Thanks for all of your videos. May the Lord bless your week.

I have everything else so I am ready to go! Some people make mustard that is so hot I can't eat it but a grainy mustard has more of a Tang then heat and I understand why your son likes to use it because it leaves behind the most wonderful Tangy taste. 😊💕😎

I completely agree about the heirloom tomatoes versus hybrid. Jet star usually does the best. We live in Cleburne county Arkansas so little ways from y'all.

Thank you Lori, for all of the recipes you provide for us! I have tried many and enjoy all your new recipes!! I also enjoy you and mr. Brown sitting on the front porch and enjoying the weather and just being together and your lovely personal Paradise there on the farm. I am curious however Lori, the guitar instrumental music can a person purchase that on DVD or CD and where? Sounds like bluegrass and I do enjoy it. It's like going back to my grandma's Farm! Again thank you so so much I've been in Canning and cooking since I was 8 years old and it's always a wonderful thing to learn something new and I've learned a lot of things new and old recipes with new tricks from you! God bless you and yours! Blessings!❤

Oops. Watching more of your vids. Addicted to all you do. Your talents. Your Heart and beautiful soul. I just watched pancakes n buttermilk syrup. I was raised loving breakfast for supper but that syrup is a new one on me even with Papa's parents from Tennessee and Georgia. I'll be trying that. X's to you n Mr. Brown from me and my Sweet Hubby in Big Sky country. ❤

A few of your videos popped up in my recommended list and I am so glad they did! I have been making my own using mustard powder (someone gave me a five pound bag!!!) but I can't wait to try this! I also prefer a grainier mustard.
