I have to tell you that I made your mustard and sold it along with my jams and jellies. Well it sold out! People loved it. I let them sample it with pretzels. When I made it I added about a quarter cup of local honey to it to tone it down a bit. It still had a bite. A gal that purchased some said she has had it with cranberries in it so I'm going to give that a try. Thanks for the video!

I am going to be making my own mustard after watching you. I see some glimmers of hope in the young, especially the new homesteaders with regards to getting back to the simple ways. Yesterday we went to a couple local Amish farms and got eggs, butter, dill, honey and fresh veggies. Seeing how the different families live was an experience Ill never forget. They were so kind and accommodating. The weather was perfect and scenery of the rolling hills just fabulous. I don’t think Ive ever experienced a more perfect day. We will be going back often. My husband and I love to support local farms as much as possible. I just love your videos. I just love working in my kitchen along with you and others who provide similar videos. I sure do like learning new things that being with my ex I would have never learned as he was a city boy all the way and did not believe in trying these things. But Mr Bruce is not a city boy and love learning new things as well. Mr Bruce is all about gardening and food storage and learning how to can . Yea! We’re out in the sticks and want property so we can have a huge garden and not a small garden. My mom did have a small garden sometimes but never did any canning and my first husband was not going to nor a garden. Like I’ve told Bruce my ex can have the city. I hate traffic and crowds. Our town has 1,200 people and we have to go 34 miles to a town of 12,000 people to go to Walmart which is fine. Thanks for sharing.

I'm really glad to get this recipe, Lori! It resembles Boetje's Mustard (made locally to me), which has long been my favorite, but the stores closest to me are no longer carrying it. So, being able to make it myself, instead of running all over the area to find it, makes me very happy. So does the price. Roughly $20 for the seeds, when that same amount of money will only get me 6 small jars of Boetje's. Yet another reason we can. :) I'm adding the seeds to my Amazon order list!
