Excellent video Tony! Lots of great tidbits of info and tips! With half of a chest freezer still full of tomatoes I’ll be adopting the sink idea for sure. Happy canning!

Canning tomatoes is one of my favorite things to do in the kitchen. Love the fireplace. Wood heat is the best. Sounds like you had a great crop of tomatoes this year. Thanks for sharing my friend.

I agree, wood heat is the best. Glad I could share.

The one thing that has been holding me back from trying to make tomato sauce myself was the blanching. I guess I have no more excuses now. I’m curious why you wipe the jar rims with vinegar?
@OurCabinInThewoodsАй бұрын
Using Vinegar Helps to get off any oily stuff of the rims. thanks for watching.
