Started at Wiluna with full tank + jerry cans. 178L of diesel at Kunawarritji (Well 33) for the Ranger - vehicle plus jerry cans. (= 16.7L/100km, so they did a bit better than we did in the 200 - we did 22.8L/100km!) They put in 112.5L at Halls Creek, but they left the jerry cans empty. Thanks for the comment, glad you're enjoying it!

Roo meat is usually a bit smelly and heavy in iron but that looked tasty as :)

Yeah, it does have a unique taste, and it's very lean. Was pretty nice, although incredibly sticky afterwards...

Wow! So much happened in this video! How many days into the trip were you here? And how did it feel to spend some time in a town with people, shops, and a bathroom?

This video starts at Georgia Bore, Day 13 of the trip (Day 1 = left Melbourne, Day 5 = entered the CSR 4WD track from Wiluna North Road). The video ends on Day 16, camped at well 36. As for Kunawarritji, it didn't feel as incongruous as you'd think. Durba Springs, with its green grass felt more out of place. Kunawarritji was still clearly a spot in the outback, even if it did have a petrol station and a general store, with some people around (no other CSR travellers, but staff and residents of the Aboriginal community). It was nice to have a shower in an actual shower, and good to be able to do washing, but the camp shower I brought along was pretty decent (after the thermostat issue was solved).

It does taste good, but not everyone likes kangaroo...

I love kangaroo, and that tail looked great. I just did some Googling and it doesn't seem easy to get a hold of one. Unless you're looking for dog food.

@@robzyb the only time I've managed to get a hold of a kangaroo tail, it was still attached to the kangaroo. (Australia Zoo visit, the kangaroo didn't mind and those tails are deceptively muscular!)

@robzyb I read somewhere it's only a few stores in outback WA, and NT that sell them...
