It's been a very rough couple of days with the extreme Court rulings. With Independence Day tomorrow, the irony of these rulings for fascism has made me heart sick. Libby, your readings uplift my spirit and calm me down. Having to leave the security of my mountain cabin and return to North Carolina tomorrow weighs heavy on me. My 85 year old mother is there and I've already pushed my luck leaving her for 5 weeks. Back to the red menace, but I have my guides, my intrepid Staffordshire terrier and I am a legally well armed woman. I'll be on my own.
