Wow, I thought the videos of the training runs looked fast, this unreal. I'd crash at the first rock I'd hit or the first turn if I tried to go anywhere near that speed. I thought the long road at the start was a bit boring, but I guess it adds to the level of fitness required to podium. Plus handling the bike at those speeds coming into corners is no joke. The rest of the track was pretty cool - the kind of single track any of us might ride - but at 2x or 3x speed.
