Cannonball Rag - Merle Travis

In February 2023 I attended the 'Guitar Workshop Spain' as a teacher for the second consecutive year and performed at the teachers concert at the end of a long, fantastic week of teaching.
Here I play a very improvised rendition of the fingerpicking classic 'Cannonball Rag'. The song, recorded by Merle Travis in the 1940's has stood the test of time and is still common repertoire in the 'boom chick' fingerstyle genre.
