2 full turns (1 at a time), came out at exactly 6mm ! Super-easy. Shimano MT601 29” rear wheel. Thanks for the video 😊

1.5 turns with my Zipp 303s on a topstone carbon ... perfect :D

Man, this gave me so many headaches… I bought a used Topstone Carbon 5 with AI which I didn’t know existed, until I decided to upgrade my wheelset. But finding out that AI was the source of the misalignment was incredibly tedious. Not a single word about it on the product page on Cannondale’s product website… So hidden away, that you only find it if you know what you’re looking for. And now I have a brand new wheelset I can’t use, I have to pay extra to make it work with my bike, almost none of the local bike shop want to do it (because they seem to think it’s not as easy as it seems in this video 🥴) and if I switch to a bike without AI (which after this experience I surely will) I have to go through all of that again… And now, the new Topstone bikes advertise the same super short chain stay without AI, praising their convenient wheel swapping capabilities… I can only agree with one comment here: This does seem like a bad joke.

Really superb video. I came here for one piece of info. (should the dishing tool have a 6mm or 12mm gap at the end) and it answered it. No fluff, just quality content.

It seems likely that now your rear disc brake will be out of alignment, does the brake have enough adjustment to not rub?
@Daddelgame5 ай бұрын
The disc brake is not out of alignment. Can’t get out of alignment. The brake is attached to the hub, the wheels center. The rim moves relative to this point. The brake doesn’t since it is connected directly. You could take away every spoke, brake disc still would be there.

Thanks for the video. I am about to offset a wheel for my 2016 Bad Habit 2. It that 3mm or 6mm offset to the non-drive side? Thanks

My local dealer could not manage to redish my aeolus pro 37 wheels. Said I'd have to change the spokes.

Hello, and what would be the Right Offset for a Boost rear Wheel? 3 mm Offset. And when its Done should be the gap on the non Drive Side 6 mm?

Has anyone done this with Mavic wheels with Zicral spokes (specifically with the Pro Allroad Disc wheels)? I'm wondering if there will be enough spoke engagement on the drive side.

I re-dished my Mavic Allroads 2 years ago and they have been fine.

The truth is that even If you take a redished wheel from one Cannondale Ai and try to fit it in another one with the same Ai spec, It won't... So, don't dare to believe that you'll just move a standard wheel 6mm right using the dishing tool and the fit Will be ok, cause It won't. Each bike frame model is unique and its dish setup wheel Will be the same only in an identical one.

Not an issue at all! I was scared to have an Apple like bike before my purchase but this turned to be a non issue.
