Amazing. I'm not at these bosses yet, but I heard how much of a nightmare they are even with a companion. This is truly masochistic, and I loved every minute of it. The parries you pulled off were amazing; I'm so trash at timing them right.

This probably is late and you already know the pain that they are but they are truly a nightmare but there might be something that could help ya out, Inhibit does wonders in this fight since it stops them from using gifts.

they're not really that hard when you have a companion, even in the depths (harder version).. I beat them on my 1st try on my 1st playthrough.. solo on the other hand, is a totally different story...

It's meant to be played with companions so yes. Imagine my dread when going against butterfly boss solo... Not even Capra Demon or Morgott or Seven Spears kicked my ass so hard.

@@ttchme9816 You have to be exaggerating. There is no universe in which she is harder than Seven Spears or Margit. Okay, I could get behind Margit depending on the circumstances, but in no way, shape or form is Delirium harder to learn than Seven Spears Yamauchi. Delirium always has the same timings, the only thing making her somewhat challenging is venom due to limited healing. Other than that, she isn’t as bad as you make her out to be. Edit: You were referring to Morgott, I misread that, but that makes the comparison even more strange. Delirium is objectively easier to learn than Morgott, provided you don’t burst damage Morgott to death with bleed.

Sweet, finally got them at L23 with Yakumo. It wasn’t as hard as I expected, using the right resistances, with patience and some luck. Thanks again for the inspiration, I almost thought I was forced to level further.

Recently beat them in the depths in the Solo/LVL1/No Damage category, it took 20 hours for all two segments in total, that in the Cathedral, that on the complicated version.

So, after beating the game for the first time - solo from start to finish - my 2nd playthrough in NG+ was of course going to be solo, but finetuning the bosses to be no-damage kills. For the third, then, I naturally figured I'd do it level 1, solo, and no-hitting the bosses, all combined... It was honestly great fun until this point. Yeah, the early game was rough: not having a good mix of codes/skills/weapons sucked, as did getting used to the low stamina etc, but I managed. ("Shifting Hollow: The Game" - even more than on my "main" playthroughs where I only used it when necessary; now it was more like a pure roll replacement just to get more swings with my pitiful stamina). Early game bosses like Butterfly and Invading Executioner took me a bit with that in mind, since they were such long pulls with low damage on my end, but they were fun. After that, I got my stuff together more and it was smooth sailing all the way to BB&C. Nicola was fun to no-hit. Gilded Hunter was easy but fun. Emily was honestly a bit iffy with how fast her claw combo comes point blank, but hey, Shifting Hollow and some bait-and-punish for the easy win. Eva was super fun to clean no hit. Then...this. Honestly, I don't feel like I became any better at the game unlike with the other bosses. It was the same shit as you did in this video: bait her into three-hit melee combos, parry, punish a bit, keep tabs on the fatty. Other than that, only punish her a bit if the fatty isn't doing any shenanigans while she is casting ice-pillars or going past you with the ice cone attack. I just felt like I was playing a frustrating running simulator, and my own impatience and RNG eventually got me punished when BB was low many times. You eventually just fuck up, or even plan it well but barely get clipped by some of the fatty's attacks, or something. Just felt like a RNG feast with how fast the fatty came close to me. Sometimes he jogs, sometimes he slow-walks, etc. Eventually, I got so impatient I just fire veil'd + fire res buff'd + fire tonic'd it up for a few pulls and ignored the fatty. That way I got BB down on every single pull and was about to kill fatty, but I threw it because I felt like I had cheated. Then I went back to the main strategy and beat my head against the wall for a few hours day for maybe a week overall, until I finally got the kill. I got so burnt out by this that I took three weeks off before carrying on with Mido and the rest. Such a bummer. I was even thinking of doing level 1 runs at a higher NG+ level for even more funsies, but...yeah no. This boss alone kills my desire to do it, even if I get to have a better code/gift setup in NG+ and beyond. Anyway, sorry for the long and pointless venting in your video. I just had to get it out of my system. You did an awesome job here - huge props.

No worries I read the whole thing and it's nice to see someone talking about this. I agree with the super rng with these two they don't harmonize to each other feels like devs just put them together to throw their shits to us so it's really not a solo-friendly fight. I think I've spent like 3-4 with 8-10hrs per day just do pull this off. I almost had a brain damage there lol. Anyway thanks!

k just tried this challenge but on NG++ and my best result so far is using 2 heal.. Took me about 2,5 hours.. Noticed that 1258 of BladeBearer's HP in this video pulls a bit more from her HP-bar than in my try, so I am I right concluding the video's run was on less than NG++? Figured out Prometheus' passive gift that recovers your stamina after parrying is a wonderful blessing that sets up for instant punishment including having left stamina to dodge big chump's camper-attacks most of the time, that he likes to spam after parrying her.. Don't know if I try it damage-less now or later as I'm quite happy with my results so far EDIT: I just did it on NG++, see answer..

Udate: Ok I just did it completely without damage on NG++ after 20 hours of trying (needed some sleep after around 13 hours lol; my head was burning like fire) and it was insanely tough.. Did it also happen to you sometimes that you randomly looked at your HP and suddenly saw 1 HP of damage despite you didn't run through fire and nothing else hit you? That happened to me several times and I'm still wondering how this sometimes happened anyway, as it was frustrating af.. Jesus..I still can't believe I just beat the most annoying and maybe even hardest boss(es) in the game without getting a scratch while being solo, on Lv.1 and on top of that on NG++.. Usually I'd say it was a fun challenge but after the first 7 hours it merely got desperate and annoying tbh; inbetween after 12 hours I had made it while 1 time being hit and I thought that's enough, but it wasn't in the end lol. Please spare me such challenges in the future - I'm glad to be in the club now but I seriously wouldn't do it again 😣 ..Gosh I'm redeemed now..I need to eat something as I neglected that completely.

I wish i can do this as a mage because I can't aim my magic without target and that chit phuck with camera so u can't see area around you. it's fine when 1 on 1 but when there re multiple target/boss, unable to see 2nd boss really could kill u. Melee can hit it but gift not so much.
