Grew up going here. Even though I’m a Disney world and universal pass holder, I still miss this place. Hope to go again when I visit NH

The same Bavarian background music! Oh man. Such memories. I haven't been back to NH in a few decades but the sounds of this place are permanently seared into my brain. Thanks! Great share!

You have made the best tour of Canobie Lake Park! And instead of going on rides while doing the tour, you stuck to the tour for the people watching!!! And you know a lot of historical things about Canobie, too! Thank you so much for this amazing tour and the rest of the amazing tours

After having gone here for end-of-the-year field trips in grade school, I decided to go again last year, which is around twenty three years later or so. As far as the look of the park, it looks as beautiful as I remembered it. Loved the rides, and I deliberately went late afternoon so that I could see the transition between day and night. I have to say, I loved the look of the park at night. Very enchanting, especially when you look down on it from the top of the ferris wheel. The kind of sight you can only see at an amusement park. As for the rides, the first one I went on was the matterhorn, as I always did when I was a child. I was surprised that I got a little dizzy. It's been so long since I've gone on amusement park rides. But I didn't let that stop me! I decided to go on the round up and loved it (I also learned that you should take your glasses off when you go on centrifuge rides). After that I started to get a little used to the dizzyness. I would have gone on more spinning rides to adjust myself completely, but I forgot that waiting in lines can take a lot of time out of the day, and I wanted to explore the rest of the park... My few complaints are that the moment you enter, you hear distasteful pop music. I will never understand why they think that kind of music fits what would otherwise be a wholesome environment. I wish people could hear the bad spirit of that music. However, the half of the park that is themed after the old rustic time period plays thematic music, which I appreciated. If I recall correctly, there is also a spot at the other end of the park near the untamed coaster that plays thematic music as well. And of course the carousel still plays the classic feel-good band organ tunes. Love those. There may be other pockets in the park where you don't hear pop music but I can't remember them at the moment. Also, I remember eating at the food stand nearest to the untamed coaster and had a burger that was excessively salty. I don't remember eating overly salty food as a youngster, so I wonder if that's a recent development or if I just liked overly salty burgers as a child. I don't know. But I got some soft serve in the old-timey part of the park and it tasted like normal soft serve. Was delicious. Regardless of my complaints this park still has a special place in my heart.

This park looks so unique. Reminds me of a mini version of a Cedar Fair park without the Snoopy.

Wonderful walk-through videos. Thanks for putting in the effort to film and post these. *Side Note : Watching the reactions to the camera is almost like some type of human behavior documentary. It's interesting in its own right. :D

Oh and can you try to make a updated version of the Tour? The Park has added a new ride (Ice Jet). And it's a little updated.

Great place but they got rid of all the old rides to make room for the large spin rides. And it took away what average guy could go on. The GALAXY COASTER. I DIDNT SEE TILTAWHIRL. THE PARATTROOPER THE ROCKET RIDE NEAR THE MAZE. 1992 WAS LAST GOOD YEAR. AND 1998. WITH MY MOM WHO PASSED AWAY NINE YEARS AFTER. I wish they kept old rides like whip they had and house of seven gables. But the old coaster and flat rides just disapearing. And for middle age guy im only left with merry ground.

It's an unfortunate trend in all amusement parks right now. But Canobie is still one of the few that does cater to families. There are still plenty of mild rides I enjoy: the Ferris wheel, Carousel, Dodgems, Mine of Lost Souls, Policy Pond log flume, Canobie Express, Yankee Cannonball, Blue Heron, Canobie 500, Antique Cars, Sky Ride ... plus a pinball arcade! And lots of shade and good food. So I'm quite happy spending a day at Canobie. I can do more there than any other park in New England.
