At 65 you start to look for ways to do what you love a little easier lol . Beautiful video as always . Did you get a chance to see my last one of Blue Bayou ( titled "I love East Texas." ) . Outstanding video, Gatewood! You're stuff is always must see! Love the footage and learning about a new part of the country and its beauty. I took my crew to the Guad last month and had an amazing 2 day trip!

Thank you, John! It was so fun to make this piece with a documentary vibe. So many more details I could’ve included but then you’re talking about an hour long video haha. Glad to hear you guys rocked the guad! Which section?

@@GatewoodBrown yeah, I loved the documentary touch. Pretty cool hearing from locals. We did the upper Guad from Sisterdale. Got a decent flow after the rains from the week prior. There two landowners that were eyeing us and questioned us but we just passed by with kindness, haha.

@@johnpartain6757 that’s good to hear, where possible I’ll definitely add in the doc style. Ya know, I’ll never understand the landowners who eye paddlers just passing through. Like what? Just floating down a public river! Anyway…glad y’all had a solid trip. Winter is a wonderful time to paddle in TX
