The food looks amazing--you made me very hungry here on a Sunday morning! That folding chair looks really strong--maybe I'll get one. We still haven't been told what Doug keeps in THE RED COOLER !! Maybe it will be a mystery forever! Doug is finally catching fish---or holding them up for a picture, at least. We don't know if he actually catches them! Bummer that it rained. Great adventure guys! Have a good week Marc!

A nice outing with great fishing Marc. Good choice of paddles for the reasons you mentioned and to stick with your trip plans regardless of weather forecasts. Still have my old Grey Owl ottertail and a crappy Sears beavertail I got with my first canoe when i was 17. Too bad about popular campsites accumulating junk or garbage. There is no excuse for not packing your garbage out, especially if the area is accessed in the winter by snowmobile as I suspect is a major source.
@OpenAirOutdoors3 ай бұрын
Ya there are plenty of snowmobillers going through that area but after having a chat with a local outfitter he tells me its from Americans visiting the area. Thanks Mark✌️

When my folks ran a tourist lodge with my grandparents in the 40s, they could always tell when our southern neighbours visited by all the discarded candy bar wrappers on the trails. Some things never change:/ Just back from getting my first ruffie of the season. Hope you get out soon if you havent already. First time hunting in shorts, sneakers and blaze orange:)

@@marksmith9295 Yes it is unseasonably hot! And yes I have been out, just came back from a three day trip. The bush is still to thick for my liking but I was out for other reasons as well! I seen your comment the other day on my shot gun video but for some reason I just could not answer back! Dam KZbin😆
@marksmith92953 ай бұрын
First time out (when i commented on the older video) was a bust but at least I got out and saw 3 that disappeared into thick bush. Looks like better populations this year. Yesterday I was lucky as the bird was 10 meters away on the trail as i was driving out from an unsuccessful stroll. The little single shot Lazer 28 gauge did its job so was good i brought 2 boom sticks. Your cleaning method works great!

How's she goin'? Wow another great back country camping trip!! I remember going to back country camp sites on crown land and seeing the garbage left behind. Absolutely terrible. We always tried to leave the site better than we found it. Lots of action on the lake!! Fish galore!! A great trip and only a little rain at the end. Take 'er easy!!
