Your footage was so beautiful! Loved seeing the heron and the bald eagle. I just liked the way those lilly pads looked too. Nice idea to take a little break on an island.

It’s hard to believe that I have never been to Lake Nockamixon. I’d like to get out kayaking more but they are so bulky and are a hassle to transport. I’m thinking of getting two of those folding kayaks. Life would be easier with them. It looked so peaceful out there. I loved all the lilypads. Cool shot of the heron “flying in the air.” Great shot of the bald eagle. Usually, I get one second to try and film them before they disappear.👍13

If I didn't have the canoe, I would look into the folding kayaks. I was actually surprised by the birds, and the lily pads didn't look like that on the satellite image. Thanks, as always, for supporting us, Craig!

No problem, BBQ RANDO! We know that you will show up sooner or later. Looks like the bald eagle was still perched in that tree overlooking the lake, keeping an eye out for your return!

Pretty lake. Blue Heron is pretty. We have them here in Florida too. I haven't seen a bald eagle here though. He is a beauty @7:12. You have a lot of beautiful nature spots there.

@@debbieskitchen2 we are thoroughly blessed to have all of these natural areas for exploration. We will be in Florida later this year to visit my Mom. Stay tuned for some Sunshine State exploration. Thanks for watching, my friend.

We really enjoy your videos and the quality is getting better. Some day my wife and I will need to launch from haycock. We usually launch at three mile run on the south end of the lake. You can go down the creek there too. With all the videos you do near Phoenixville and French Creek we probably live in the same general area.
@LumberjackPa2 ай бұрын
@chuckh1958 Well, thank you so much for the compliment! I want to do that Three Mile Run in the future. We are about fifteen minutes or so from Phoenixville. Maybe we'll see you out in the woods someday. Until then, you can see us right here. Thanks for watching!

Was that the Mothman?? 😱 Oh, whew, just a heron. 😂 The bald eagle was very cool, too! 🦅We can see Haycock Mountain from our front porch in Jersey. We've been staring at it for over 30 years and finally decided to hike it last year, so I know exactly where you were canoeing.
@LumberjackPa2 ай бұрын
Sometimes, you can be startled by these birds for sure. I keep forgetting how close New Jersey is when we go north and east of our normal stomping grounds. We are happy that you stopped by!

Yea, I'm glad I came along, too. The Scum Sucker did just fine. It's all worth it to see the bald eagle. The Sea Eagle would have liked it, too.

I bet there is some good bass fishing under those lily's. Lake Nockamixon, is that near lake Whatsahooey?
@LumberjackPa2 ай бұрын
I am sure that bass fishing is a thing here. They run tournaments on this lake from what I read. Just down from Wassup Lake, I believe. Thanks for watching!
