I was out there Sunday, missed you by a day.

No way! I actually went back out there Sunday, but was only there an hour or two (around 2pm). I had originally gone to Flint Creek in Hartselle Sunday afternoon, but it was flooded and flowing too much. It was crazy how it was so high and Cotaco was normal.

LOL- I'm kind of surprised he checked up. I've seen a few that expected me to stop while they passed...ha, ha! But overall he was pretty chill! :)

Enjoyed Dan! That was a nice little camp spot. We got out and paddle boarded in this area last month. Just haven’t posted that one yet. So many little places to explore there. Safe paddling! 👍🏾👍🏾

Hey Lashonda- that's awesome! It is such a great place to paddle! I got some pretty good fall pics there last year when the trees changed! Looking forward to trying that again soon!! Thanks, as always!! :)

My kind of trip! From a fellow Alabama paddler, I was wondering if you record tracks of your paddles? I'm always looking for good places to do an out-and-back- I am solo, so don't really have a way to put in and take out at different spots. Just got a new kayak and I'm working on a video for my channel where I went to Burchfield Branch on the Black Warrior, take a look...

Thank you so much, Steve!! Most of the time I carry a Garmin Etrex 20, but mainly just to track time & distance. I don't ever review my actual "tracks". Around here (Decatur), we're on Wheeler Lake (Tennessee River) and so many of the "creeks" (Flint, Cotaco) sit at lake level and rarely flow unless there's been lots of rain or they're releasing at the dam. That makes for many great out-n-back paddle spots around here. I'm subscribed and will check out some vids! Thanks!!
