Did/Do you take any singing lessons? :) I am asking because I do want to learn some more aggressive sounding vocal techniques, but with the help of a professional.

I did, yeah, though none for shouting. Metal vocal coaches are hard to come by in Germany (and most of the world). What helped most was taking lessons from a musical theater coach, where singing loudly is encouraged. More than any other teachers she helped me open up my vocal tract and that helped produce more tone on the shouts as well.
