Oh no!! I’m in the same boat!! I’m selling my 400mm f 5.6 (excellent in box) and the 70-300mm L lens. I love both, but now that this zoom finally caught up in quality, I can’t ignore how much reach and versatility that provides. I hope to buy one once I sell my other too.

Hi Dan, thanks for the video (I love watching unboxing videos of products which I'm going to buy soon) I have a question related to the BG-E16. How does it feel? Does it feel like the camera (magnesium-alloyed body)? Hows the pressure point of the release button? I had an battery grip for my old camera and I didnt like it that much...now I'm thinking about to buy a BG from Canon for my 7D MkII, even when its more than twice the price of a third party manufacturer. Does the AT work on the 7Dm2 when you use the 1.4x III extender with the 100-400 M2? Also, I didn't find the link to the foot you mentioned. Does it has any other advantage over the OEM foot beyond the arca swiss mount? Thanks.

+Anthony Martin AF works until f/8 with 7D mk 2 (5.6 x 1.4 = 8), at least central AF Point.
