Dude, you killed it with this one. Love that music choice w your images and your obvious direction in combo with what Paige has also brought to the table. I know it's a fairly hectic call, but for me this is the best 1DX Mii vid I've found whilst looking for vision samples / caveats / UX issues etc using this camera. Even with the options of the GH5 / EVA1 / Ursa Mini Pro / C200, for my bread n butter work I'm still seriously considering the 1DX Mii as an event shoots machine (corporate / product launch etc). As much as Canon's being dicks by holding back C-LOG for this one, even ProLost flat or Deluts (as Josh @TheEditSuite suggested) should easily suffice. I know a lot of surf photogs covering the tour that use this cam for stills and it's a beast. I also love what you're doing with this one in our realm, but know all too well from experience it's not just the camera that's killing it mate, nice work champion. I know shit's gettin weird w this man-love-rant haha but I also wanted to mention that after reading a good deal of your responses to a lot of the questions you're getting on your channel, it's pretty obvious you've not only equipped yourself with a lot of "well informed" knowledge, but are displaying maturity in your responses that are well beyond your years - credit to you brother.

Gemini Waltz Media the features Sony and Panasonic are offering in their cameras far surpass what canon is doing in their lower end cameras. The 1DX is basically the only canon camera that competes in terms of specs

I see noone's answered so I'll do my best! 1) MPEG4 AVC/H.264 (It shoots Motion JPEG in 4k modes) 2) Yes 3) Yes. Not audio recording though - It does in 60fps and lower in 1080 and 4k 4) Not sure on that one. I'd bet the anti-filters to prevent that from happening carry over, but I'm just guessing Cheers

The "cinema rule" would put it at double your frame rate so 1/250s or whatever is closest on your camera.

Nicely done! Random question: I was testing this camera out and noticed that the files import into Premiere at 29.97fps instead of 120fps. Looks like they are already slowed down. I guess it's not a problem but just seemed strange to me. Did you have any issues with that?

A bit of both - pretty lucky most of these models know what they're doing, so I can focus on the visuals. However, sometimes I have a vision in mind that I want them to execute and I'll let them know what to do or if I see what I like, get them to do it again! :)

Hey man, so I've had the 1dxii for a few months now and love it. For some reason though I hate the 120fps out of it. Like it's SO soft. The 4k60 is amazing so maybe i'm just trying to compare it to that too much, but is there anything I'm missing? I've got great glass so I don't know what the problem could be. I see people online raving about the quality and bitrate of the 120fps from this camera but I'm just not impressed with mine. Any advice? Thanks!!
