Thanks a lot for taking the time to make this Zedd. It took me a lot of google searching to find something that answered the questions I needed answered, so well done. I came across the opportunity to buy 10 FD lenses + a T70 body + some tripods, a flash and other assorted stuff I don't really need for about $410USD!..all in a pro. aluminium case. (These are the specifics of the lenses cut and pasted from the advert: Canon 50mm 1.4, Canon 200m macro 35-70mm 3.5, Canon 50 mm 1.8, Canon zoom macro 70-210 1.4, Tokina macro 28-200mm 3.5, Canon 500mm 3.5, Tokina 17mm 3.5, Vivitar 55mm 2.8 auto macro, Makinon 28mm 2.8) I thought I'd won the lottery right?...but I shoot stills. I've never shot a video in my life! I shoot with an old 600d (T3i) body (as in your video). I already have the 18-55 & 55-250 kit lenses (both with IS & AF), a Tokina 11-16 DX II (with IS & AF) and a Yongnuo 50mm 1.4 (with AF). On my to buy list is a 24mm f2.8 pancake and a Tamron 70-200 f2.8 OS. That'll cover me for a while as I'm really still a bit of a beginner who shoots handheld 75% of the time. So what would I actually gain by buying these 10 lenses that I don't (or won't) already have? Maybe the 500 f3.5 would be of some use (even with the adaptors f-stop hike) and more so the 70-210mm f1.4. On top of that I'm already 3/4's of the way there with my current glass, and even with the fair to mediocre to pretty good lens collection I'll have after I drop another $1K, I'll be producing better and more predictable "stills" results than I would with those 10 FD lenses, and spending 1/4 of the time in post! I just don't need all that glass! If I shot video and was able to spend *hours* in post correcting the average image quality one gets out of camera through the adaptor and lenses, it would be worth it but I've never shot a video in my life! Even so, I'm sure you're thinking "buy it you fool! So much for so little!" I'm in Australia, so if you wanted it the freight would probably make the cost untenable, but if you're interested, let me know. Thanks for your vid. It helped me realise all of that! and it was well put together too mate. You squeezed a great little video out of some pretty unforgiving equipment. It popped stylistically as well, so you know, kudos. 👍

Are you trying to sell me what you bought yourself? I also can't tell if you're blaming me for your purchase or happy that I lead you down this rabbit hole of gear.
