What is the piece you did not show that is sitting on top of the printer in packaging after the manual? i have that in my box and cant figure out what it goes to

I think that is to cover the front part of the printer where the paper comes out. I thought its a spare part so dod not ise it.

@@printerscanners Thank you for responding so quickly. I called Canon it is a dust cover for the paper draw if you plan to use legal paper alot Wanted you to know in case anyone else ask you

At 5:33 you unzip the drivers and the printer seems to start working without actually installing them? You have to go to the directory they were unzipped and click setup.exe.
