Just beautiful. I love this piece of music. I first heard it back in the 70's. It has been a favorite of mine. I have used it many times for a wedding professional. You have a organ playing method like no one else. Very nice. Wish you would do a concert tour here in the states.

Very nice Paul. Maybe you inspired those two youngsters to learn to play the organ. We need more young talented organists. 😀

Lieber Paul.

Nice song Paul! I feel like I heard this song before, probably in pop culture. For example, 'The Graduation Song.' I found out not long ago, takes it's sound from 'Land of Hope and Glory' a British patriotic song. And 'Over the Hills and Far Away' by Night wish borrowed the sound from a British Folk song by the same name.

Thanks Paul. I use the Canon in D (I play it in C) to teach beginning students basic chord progressions in the Majors and minors. Also good while learning to play/teach the organ pedals. Though my computer spelling checker calls "Pachelbel" "Bellyache" and some viola players may think of it that way because of the repetitive ear-worm bass line. 🙂🐧

It’s makes me very happy to read this. I too learned Canon in C first, learned about transposing from there. Was able to play in any key with improvisations not long after.

@@BingWrosby Thank you Bing. Actually the first chord progression that I learned was "Let It Be" by Paul McCartney in the key of C. From there just add the Em chord and then you have the full Pachelbel's Canon. C-G-Am-Em-F-C-F-Gsus-G and suddenly we can play organs and pianos for church weddings. 🙂🎹

Paul ... Do you know or have met Marvin Rose, a piano player on youtube. You seem to have similar souls. Give yourself a treat!
