I think, regarding technique, melodic motions in the same hand should be achieved by rotating the forearm as though turning a key, rather than by flexion by individual fingers.

@@Annas-Melodies You might find some approaches like Taubman technique and Edna Golansky's approach useful. She uses the word "rotation" in reference to the forearm.

I have never learned to play the piano with a metronome, so I don't know what speed you should officially use for this song. 😁I would say if you like it yourself then it's good😉

There are many variations…composed in slow tempo. George winston variations is my favourite and i have heard hundreds of covers of canon in c or d. With various instruments

It usually should show a number at the Top of the page somewhere. The same one I'm practicing is 100 for the speed. If counting beats helps [1e&a] etc, it should help once you get use to it tho. I know it's complicated.😂😂
