Image at 7:59 is great! The Canon M50 doesn't have minimum shutter speed as an option in settings, so you may consider shutter priority. Something of 1/400s or 1/320s when there is less light works well, as a sudden movement of the subject of the photo will not be blurred. Yes indeed slower speeds, as you have shown, do work, but someday you will get burned when that great moment also has great movement. Take along some cards, even simple cut from copy paper ( yea, I am cheap ) with your name, what you do, KZbin and such on it, as a hand-out to give people. Of course your phone to show people your stuff is good too. Take care and enjoy the street -- great place for photography, Loren

Great video🔥🔥 Btw, if you given an opition, canon m50 mark1 new and canon m50 mark2 secondhand, which do you want to choose?
@NorthEst202110 ай бұрын
Tbh there’s not much of a significant difference between the two, but for me personally it’s all about the photographer and how they use their settings to take photos.

Awesome..... Did u use adapter Did adapter effect on photo quality?
@NorthEst2021 Жыл бұрын
An adapter doesn't add or take away any image quality. It just allows the user to connect different lenses that are particular not supported for the camera body.

I really like my Canon M50. I think this little fella packs a punch especially for an entry level camera. I can't wait to test the R10 its 'successor', and the R7 a high end APSC

I definitely want to try out the R5 or the R6 one day! But the Canon M50 is definitely a camera that’s underrated and needs more attention 🔥🔥🔥

@FnnElm I would still recommend using the M50 mkii, the M50 is an amzing beginner mirrorless camera, if you're just getting started in street photography and don't want the hassle of learning too much of the button layout, then it's the perfect camera, until you feel comfortable upgrading to either a full frame dslr or mirrorless camera. I also own the Sony A7III, because it's a great budget full frame mirrorless camera, when you want to upgrade from a APC-Crop sensor like the M50. I will also do a video on explaining the button layouts on the M50 in the future, as well as sharing my settings for photos, and video if people want to learn to do cinematography with the M50.

10:22 I love this reaction bc from someone who is like me, an introvert, and also someone who is from a state where people don't understand why a photographer is on the streets and is more likely to confront/fight you for taking a photo... Maine... I feel like a 55mm-250mm is a wonderful choice. Am I going to get tired of it eventually, and feel like "it's cheating"... probably, but for now... for me... this is a great choice... (this is also me convincing myself to get me this lens too 🤣🤣)
@NorthEst20212 жыл бұрын
Yeah! A zoom lens is perfect for if you really want to get shots that street photography isn’t common in certain states. Obviously here in NY it’s expected and no one will say anything tbh, but in rural areas…people may say something to you.

I've pretty much done all my paid jobs and as a hardcore hobbyist (travel vacay and hike)with the M6mii with the 22mm f2 + 50mm 1.8 stm as my main lens + some flashes. Some times when the 50mm is not enough, I'll bring out the kit f3.5-5.6 18-135 usm. Coming from a beginner 1000D and later 70D and shifting to a mirrorless like the M50/M6 is like upgrading a honda to a Mercedes. Wayyyyy better focusing and experience overall. Having a 1000usd pro L glass is cool and all but to get results all you need is good composition + lights, a good body that can nail focus like the M50 and M6, and some editing skills. But low key im pretty sad that the M line is dead and quite jealous of the new R7/R10. The CMOS ii sensor with digic X results in a killer sticky focusing especially for moving subjects not to mention the RF lineup glasses. But i think the M50 and my little M6mii will hold its ground and not that "substantial" of an upgrade to the R7/R10. The next successor (possibly 2025-26 maybe?) will probably be much more worth the upgrade considering the technological advancement right? Either way keep making these cool street shots bro!
@NorthEst20212 жыл бұрын
I truly agree with all of this…the M50 is such a terrific camera and the image quality that comes with it, but I believe Canon is trying to compete with other brands to help creators expand their creativity. I use both the M50 and the A7III, but I do want to try the R5 or the R6 hopefully in the near future.
@HawkyLee2 жыл бұрын
@@NorthEst2021 Do make a video with the R5/R6 and compare it against your a7iii, really intrigued how a sony "basic" 2018 FF would compare against the canon's midrange FF 🤜🤛
@NorthEst20212 жыл бұрын
I would honest…I think both cameras are amazing, but both have their pros and cons
