Canon PowerShot V10 Review: Small size, large sensor

This! This is the review I've been looking for! Showing many footages including still photos instead of talk, talk, talk about the camera, which, duh, I can read from the spec sheet. I'm so glad you show the still photos because not many people are doing that. They think it's a "vlog" camera and they're gonna review it as a vlog camera. For me, I just want a camera that is better than a phone and still photos are important too! I don't need really need it for vlog and ZV-1 II is just overpriced. By the way, the footage looks amazing! I'm watching this on TV and I don't complain about it at all. Thank you so much for the review! 🙏

Hello, I don't know if you will see this comment or care to tell me but if I use the mini hdmi out, is the output high quality? The same as the quality shown in this video? I have a Fuji camera its a bit older but it has terrible HDMI out capabilities.

Hi Shawn, yes, the camera is able to reasonably track and follow a person (in the ultra-wide mode only), you can see it in action in the video. I did not test Sony ZV-1 so far, so I cannot give you any comparison... Best, Jan

Otto, hi and thanks for the question - I was trying to upload the full size photos to the English version of my review, see the link bellow, but there is a size limit, so I was not able to do it... But still, the photos are more than 2000 px wide, so you can get a good idea about the results. But: as I mention in the video: this is really not a still photography camera, the controls are very limited - and you cannot even zoom in the photo mode... Hi Sivakumar, frankly, I am not sure exactly, I did not see any official number, but since the ultra-wide is about 18-19 mm wide, I believe it should be around / under 30 mm.

Well, quite frankly, I do not thinks this this is a good choice for you. Yes, the Canon can take stills, but primarily, it is created for video and photo settings are very limited... Jan
