the camera quality is sooo good with the canon v10, even better than the g7x. I think the g7x is little flat, a little softened and over saturated. great video, really informative.

Agree, the v10 is amazing quality, surprisingly good for such a small camera! I am very happy with the switch, especially with the wider angle lens

Update the firmware to 1.3. it improves it a lot. Also a Rode SmartLav for £50 is well worth it

You obviously don’t know much about cameras, do you?! The colors of the G7X mk2 look so much better and the V10 looks the worst all the time. The G7X mk2 has a 24mm at it’s widest and that’s called wide angle lense in photography. Everything that’s wider, is called ultra wide angle. The problem with ultra wides is that they get a unatural distorted look, that does not at all resemble what we see with our eyes. The G7X mk2 has become a legendary camera, and you are one of the privileged persons owning one. Thousands of people are actually looking to buy this camera on the 2nd hand market, because it has the very unique capability to produce a look out of the box, which ressembles the look of real film cameras. Today digital cameras can’t do that, they produce nice images, but they look digital.
