Canon printer Error 1403 print head incorrect easy FIX

I found that throwing mine in the garbage and not buying canon products ever again has fixed all my printer problems. Highly recommended!

So awesome! Worked for my Pixma iP8720. Maybe because it’s a newer model but they have a grey latch thingy around the print head. I just lifted it up and jiggled the ink deposit thingies and it worked. Thank youuuuu!

You actually need to hold the stop button for 5 seconds when the lid is open, that way the printhead gets into the change position for easy removal.

The first thing one should do is remove the printhead and see if the error message changes to 1401 instead. That is the error for missing printhead. If after removing the printhead the printer still says error 1403 nothing will help to resolve this, not even buying a new printhead.

He's jostling the print head, that part he touching with the screw driver has reservoirs that the cartridges' ink deposits into... this ink can dry up and clog print head... tho he's just ensuring it's in the right place ( the Russian way, Armageddon, hammer time!)....

@@kaycon4823 it’s free to talk to them and they’ll point you in the right direction if it needs to be repaired and it depends what’s wrong with it, they’ll be able to let you know what’s covered by warranty

the head just yanks out then was covered in ink at bottom so hillbilly wiped on tissue and now works :)
