I don’t doubt anything you’re saying about the phone being better than an R100 for video in nearly every way when it comes to convenience and zero editing. But the kit lens is a kit lens. Even one or two cheap primes would make the R100 a much better value. You could get the R100 and the 16mm, 28mm, and 50mm STM Primes, and it would still be cheaper than an iPhone.

Yeah, if you get a 50 mm 1.8 I think the R 100 will be a lot better
@mikede246427 күн бұрын
Did you set the R100 in an HDR mode for the stills? If not, then I do not believe the dynamic range results are accurate.
@Michael_Relevant26 күн бұрын
Why would I want garbage over saturated HDR photos? That would be so embarrassing to post in a video. Less dynamic range would look better than HDR. HDR shots would look cheap like a phone photo or luminary neo.
@mikede246426 күн бұрын
@@Michael_RelevantThe iphone uses algorithms to computationally increase the dynamic range in the same way HDR mode does on the R100-only the iphone does it faster, "behind-the-scenes" automatically. Given this is a comparison of both cameras-including dynamic range-ensuring both cameras are setup similarly (in this case in terms settings that impact dynamic range) may help ensure an accurate comparison of both cameras.

I found it for 219 with the kit lense. Do you think it is worth buying if i wanna upgrade from phone photography?
@ttiizationАй бұрын
Extremely good price. You can always get better lenses

I’d get the rf 50mm but yeah

I'm sorry to be honest, but no mobile phone, no matter how good it is, will give you the photographic quality of a camera. That said, if portability is the issue, go mobile. Otherwise, cameras will always be the best choice.

I like full frame but the iPhone video specs beat the r100. I’d take an a7iv over an iPhone but I’d take an iPhone over the r100 personally.

I use Canon EOS R100 with kit lenses RF-S 18-45 f4.5-6.3 and RF-S18-150mm f3.5-6.3 and with Prime lense for portraits RF 50mm f1.8 STM and the photos are amazing. Better than any iphones. Because of that the size of sensor. it is 4.8 times bigger than Iphones'

Can you please tell us exactly how much you spend for the camera. It came at 480 but the asking price in Bangladesh at this moment is 380 I would like to buy it for the fair price.

@@Michael_Relevantwith the kit lens?
@Michael_RelevantАй бұрын
@ yeah other lenses would be way more. If you put a 50 mm 1.2 or something on there yeah it’d probably win.
@ttiizationАй бұрын
I think the review here is Iphone VS the 18-45mm RF kit lens. It's pretty bad of a lens. But you get it with some 50mm, 35mm, and other wide aperture options, no phone can compare to that
@Michael_RelevantАй бұрын
Haha yeah
@JackBlack4442 ай бұрын
This are really stupid reviews, you cannot compare an apple with ....... man this simple canon blows the stupid phone out of the water, just ridiculous.😂😂😂
@Michael_Relevant2 ай бұрын
Hahahaha no it doesn’t. Have you never used an iPhone for video. The video specs blow the r100 away. You don’t even get log footage on the r100.
