Hi Tushar, Apologies for the delayed response. Well, R6 will have the following advantages over the 7D Mark II 1. You will get 12 FPS compared to 7 (if I am not wrong). 2. IBIS - This is a great feature 3. Animal Eye Focus - Again something that 7D doesn't have. Infact all the features I talked about in this video is a benefit because you didn't have any of that in your 7D. Good luck

You are a genius.. do u offer online classes for wildlife photography? Also one more question, do you think 20megapixel is low considering the price of the camera? How about R5? I m considering between the two.. leaning towards R6 but that 20mp is a bummer
@SachinRai3 жыл бұрын
Hey Arjun, Apologies for the delay in responding. Yes, I do conduct workshops and photography tours. You could check the website - www.sachinrai.com Well, yes 20MP can be little less if you intend to crop a lot of take large prints. If you do not, then 20MP is more than enough. I bought myself the R5 because I wanted large prints and also 4K slow mo. Apart from that, there isn't any major difference. Good luck :)

Beautiful sample shots and great review! Did you notice any rolling shutter artefacts in electronic shutter mode, and any comparison with the poor performance of the EOS R in this regard?
@SachinRai4 жыл бұрын
Very honestly, I did not try the electronic shutter much. For me, 12FPS is good enough. But in wildlife, I don't think the rolling shutter would be a problem because most of my subjects wont be that fast. I might have to worry about it if and when am shooting Humming birds maybe. Hi Kenneth, Thankyou. I didn't notice the rolling shutter problem. Also, maybe, because I didn't shoot a subject that was very fast. @SachinRai3 жыл бұрын
Dear Mike, Absolutely not! :). The widest aperture at 500 on the 100-500 is 7.1. You cant compare that with the 2.8 aperture on the 400 no? That is 2 2/3rd stop smaller. Which means the depth of field would be way too different between the two.

@SachinRai4 жыл бұрын
Hi, I will be biased towards Canon. And honestly, Canon has more lenses than Sony. So you have far more choices to pick up in Canon and they are cheaper too. No, you will have to use only Canon lenses (even the old EF or EFS lenses work with the adapter). Yes, video and focussing and everything works fine with the adapter. Infact all the pictures I have used are from 400 2.8 EF lens. I have used adapter to take all the pictures and slow motion videos you see in this video. I would highly recommend you go for Canon :)

After a month of watching videos on the R5, R6, Sony A9, Sony A7R IV and the Sony A7S III... I am so excited that I am gonna get the little beast, Canon R6! From videos about auto focus, tracking, dynamic range, the colour output, the 4K footage quality, FPS for photography, 4K frame rates, the choice of lenses, quality of IBIS and then the quality of stabilisation in the RF lenses, the additional ring features on those RF lenses, the area of focus points on the frame, ISO capabilities Image quality that the 20mp something sensor puts out which actually is as good as a 25mp; the R6 wins. I don't wanna hurt the feelings of people who got the A7S III but here's some facts - 1. Canon Colour Science 2. That 12mp on a camera that price? It's VERY limiting and outrageous. 3. 12fps on mechanical and 20fps with electronic shutter on the R6 4. The in body stabilisation is actually better on the R5 and R6, go watch some tests on youtube or maybe just check it out yourself if you can arrange it before you invest all that money into professional gear 5. The RF lenses? Understand what they are and what they are capable of, NO G Masters aren't that good. 6. Overheating issues? Listen, just ask yourself this, how many people on KZbin actually watch videos in 4K? I am pretty much sure that its 720p for more than 50 percent of the population and another 30-35 or even more for 1080. A very little percentage falls in the 4K watch category and if you are only gonna be making content for KZbin? So how much 4k do you wanna shoot? This is one big reason that I decided not to go for the R5 for that 8K. I mean the file size alone will be difficult to handle. 7. Stop bragging about the ISO on the A7S III. You aren't gonna be using the 50K plus ISO footage for real. I bet even half of that ISO won't be your content footage. People are just putting up stuff for test results but ask them how much will be using of that blah blah blah extremely ridiculous ISO of 100000. What are you gonna want to shoot with that 100000 plus ISO? Looking for runaway inmates in the jungles or what? R6 does it all. If you think about how much you really need and what this beast can actually do? This has to be the best camera in 2020 for the price it comes at. Best of both the worlds. Photography and Videos as well. Be it sports photography, wildlife, weddings? R6 with that 20mp res and the incredible auto focus is 💣 For videos? The downscaled 4K on R6 is pretty much AWESOME! CLOG? 4:2:2? I mean what else do you want? And do you REALLY need that more of what you just think you need? Alright. Good health to all.

Hello Sachin, great video ! Thanks for the share. Quick question: I bought the R6 a couple weeks back and still wondering if I should have gone for R5 instead because of the lower pixel sensor on the R6. Since you’re into wildlife photography, I think you’ll be the best person to help me out with this. Does the 20.1 mp sensor enough for an enthusiast and maybe get some photo prints for a wall frame ?
@SachinRai3 жыл бұрын
Hi, Well, I picked the R5 for myself because I end up printing a lot of my pictures and also sell my prints. Hence I had to get the R5. But for enthusiasts, you can always use the R6. 20MP is honestly good enough for web usage and also prints. Unless you want a really large print. Now that you have got the R6, try and not compare it with the R5 and just make the most of it? :)

@SachinRai4 жыл бұрын
Dear Ken, Thank you for asking. Yes, 20MP does sound little too less if you are going to substantially crop your image. But then what are you doing with your cropped image? Are you posting them online or you ever take prints? If you are going to use the images for website and just post them on social media, then there is no issue. But if you intend to make large prints, then 20 MP will be less for sure. You can then go for the R5, if cost is not an issue. Good luck

What did you have before and do you like the camera? How are you liking autofocus for video and does 1080p 120 fps overheat?
@anushanrijal55893 жыл бұрын
I was planning to go move to sony team but by looking your review about it I will stay back to canon mirrorless

hello one question i am also planning to buy the eos R6 but what with the focus on flying birds apparently this is not good
@SachinRai4 жыл бұрын
I didn't have much issues as long as the bird was big and in the frame.
@kalawatimahala82994 жыл бұрын
For wildlife photography , which one should I go for Eos Rp or Eos 90d?
@SachinRai4 жыл бұрын
RP is only 4FPS. I would suggest you go for the R6 if you can. If price is an issue, then go for the 90D

How was the overheating in the Indian Weather?
@SachinRai4 жыл бұрын
Hey, I the over heating issue is surely exaggerated. Apparently R5 heats up only if you take 8k videos for 30 minutes straight. As a photographer, I do not have to take videos for that long. I take video snippets of 2-3 minutes at a stretch. It doesn't heat up when you are taking pictures. I used both Canon R5 and R6 to take pictures all day long and never had any issue.

Did the R6 have a 30min time for shooting stills?
@jonnham3 жыл бұрын
No. There is no cap time for shooting still images. There is however a 30min record limit for video.

Awesome video! I'm liking the reviews for the R6 I just have to get over the 20 megapixels I just find that underwhelming, but from what I have seen 20 mp is more than enough
