Nice! I think both canon and fanon have their benefits for the character (I'm with you on that fanon BF loves rapping almost as much as his Girlfriend is cute and funny). People tend to exaggerate how bad the fanon version is or at least focus more on the negative parts of the fanon when there are some decent ones as well. And for all we know, some of the canon facts about Boyfriend could just be the devs joking around and are not meant to be taken seriously. Plus, while its okay to dislike the fanon version, I don't see why people are making a fuss over them. We all kind of have our interpretations of the characters due to the base game not giving them much personalities outside of PA's streams and comics sometimes. I think people are allowed to just have fun with their takes on Boyfriend and the other characters as long as they're not shoving them down in people's throats.
