When I was team Canon, The RF 24-70 never left my C70. It is a real workhorse lens. I love RF lenses!

Yeah, it's such a solid lens!

The 28-70 is amazing. I just rented it and was sad when I had to return it. Everyone complains about the weight but I didn’t think it was that bad
@DLivingstonАй бұрын
Yeah, I hear about the weight but I am all good with heavy lenses if the quality is there! I mean, I handhold the 300mm still so.

RF 28-70 f2 is the best lens I have ever used.
@hawaiifreespeechnewsАй бұрын
@@anthonyk27 I've heard others praise that lens as well but if you shoot hand held video, you'd be better off with the 24-70 2.8 because it has Lens IS
@anthonyk27Ай бұрын
@ I shoot handheld 95% of the time. Never an issue. I am biased. I always wanted that lens, and loved it when I got it.

I love that lens too. Also rented it

Love the 28-70. So clear

I bet, I’ve got to try it soon.

For video I would recommend the RF 15-35 2.8 for one body and the 24-70 2.8 on the other. Both have great Lens IS
@DLivingstonАй бұрын
I believe that. I def could use a 15-35 in sports a ton, probably more than 24-70.
@3-piece129Ай бұрын
If you enjoyed the 24-70 f/2.8 then you’ll love the 24-105 f/2.8. You might want to consider trading in the 24-70 for it.
@DLivingstonАй бұрын
I have used it and it was awesome. Def on my radar to get.

Been shooting basketball with my R6 and a EF 70-200 2.8 and I was wondering what setting you typically keep yours set to. I’ve been at ISO 6400 with at least 1/1000 shutter at 2.8. I still see some noise afterwards so maybe I’m shooting too high? Thoughts?
@hawaiifreespeechnewsАй бұрын
An R6? You can't expect a less than 2k camera to give you a clean image with an ISO and shutter speed cranked up that high with such poor lighting conditions. It's time to upgrade to an R3 or better, the R1
@DLivingstonАй бұрын
You can always drop the iso to 4,000 and allow the images to be slightly underexposed and see if that helps any. Or you could drop the shutter down to 1/500-800(will introduce some motion blur). I do perfectly fine with my R6, so I wouldn't say you need to upgrade your camera already over something you can fix my changing your settings.
@Yarborough19Ай бұрын
@@DLivingston I will try lowering the ISO and see if it helps. I’m still able to get pretty decent shots, but there are a few that have more noise than I’d like. Also I have been using Face Detection for my focus settings. Is that what you use? I thought about trying something else because sometimes it doesn’t lock on perfectly haha.
@faithfitnessandfatherhoodАй бұрын
I think you could probably drop your shutter to 1/800. I shoot volleyball at 1/1000 or 1/1250 max, but the ball is traveling at 40-60mph typically. Basketball is slightly slower, so 1/800 may allow you to drop the iso and get it lower in the gym.
@3-piece129Ай бұрын
Are you shooting in RAW? I sometimes lower the iso to 3200/4000. The image will be dark but I then lighten it up in LR by bringing up the shadows and adjusting the noise level settings. The cameras’s DR can handle it. Also, take advantage of the dual iso.
