I’m an RP owner still not able to decide on my first RF lens. Do I go for the 35 or hold out/save up another third more UK pennies for the 24-105 F4. I suppose it depends on whether the majority of my photos using EF lenses are around the 35mm?
@ShaneLongPhotography4 жыл бұрын
Depends on what kind of photos you want to make! For my needs, I would choose the 35mm 1.8. I have owned a 25-105 before and didn't really enjoy it that much. The photos turn out good, but didn't have much "wow" to them. The 35 is a very versatile focal length and the f1.8 is great for low light photos. Have fun with whichever lens you buy!
@jmich51234 жыл бұрын
I have the R and the 24-105f4 and the lens is very good so I’d never dissuade anyone to get it. However the 35 arrives tomorrow... if I had the RP I would not hesitate to make the 35 my first lens. Talk about a travel / lite weight setup. As I lug the 24-105 and Ef 16-35 around in my backpack I think about your potential combo all the time and is why I’m buying it. The 2 additional stops sealed the deal.
