This lens is a dream! The B roll was shot with the R5 Btw. As I mentioned in another video the R5 is my daily driver. I'm getting better with the filming of B roll. Thanks for the comment!

Out of curiosity, have you used the F4.0 version of this years? Since I’m saving up for a good telephoto lens for my Canon EOS R7. I am debating on save for the 85 F1.2

I have never used the F4 version. But I can say that if it's an L-series lens the quality is world class. I would caution you to verify how the crop sensor affects the f-stop of the lens. I'm uncertain if using a crop sensor increases the F stop. Also on a crop sensor, the lens would be a super telephoto. But im sure you kept that in mind. Honestly though when it comes to these high ticket lenses I always encourage to rent when possible before buying. It's such a big purchase and decision. I own the 85 1.2 and that lens is no where near as versatile and it sits on my shelf a lot. I don't get many gigs in studio where I want to bring it out. And I don't walk around often with it. @@TMVVisualMedia I've never owned any of the Canon L-Series of lenses. I've flirted with the idea for a while now. The 70mm - 200mm L-Series lens is something that I've debated on when my Canon 80D was my trusted workhorse. The RF 70mm - 200mm F4.0 is the lens I was thinking about using for portraits/headshots and events and such for video projects. As for the 85mm RF F1.2 L-Series lens, I'm debating on saving for it, mostly because I've played with the Canon 85 EF F1.8 lens and the Sigma 85 F1.4 lens on my Canon 80D. I loved how the images turned out. For the F-stop/aperture being effected, I think if we use the 70-200 F4.0 as a example would the F-stop/aperture lower by a quarter of a stop like to a F4.5 or F5.0 or something in that range? I do have more questions that i want to ask. Is a Emaill address i can message you on? I don't wanna overflow the comment on the video.
