Nachdem das neue Krypteria-Album "All Beauty Must Die" höchst erfolgreich auf Platz 24 gechartet ist und die Krypteria-Meisterhymne für den BVB sogar Platz 6 der deutschen media control-Charts erreichte, hat die Band die Zeit bis zu den diesjährigen Festivals und ihrer im Herbst startenden Asien/Deutschland/Südamerika-Tour genutzt, eine etwas merkwürdige Idee ihres Gitarristen Chris Siemons umzusetzen.
Chris hat ungefähr ein halbes Jahr lang an einer Gitarrendudelnummer geschraubt, auf die er im Internet aufmerksam geworden war, und seine Bandkollegen genötigt, mit ihm diese Nummer aufzunehmen.
Der "Canon Rock" basiert auf der Komposition des " Kanon in D-Dur" von Johann Pachelbel (1653 -1706) und ist im Arrangement des taiwanesischen Gitarristen JerryC zu einer wahren youtube-Sensation geworden. Der "Canon Rock" gilt mit mehr als 90 Millionen Views als eins der meistgesehen Videos auf youtube.
Das spektakuläre Gitarrenarrangement des Kanon von Pachelbel hat Chris inspiriert, dieses Stück in vielen Stunden zu erarbeiten. Letztendlich hatte die Band so viel Spaß bei den Aufnahmen, dass sie sich entschied, diesen Song sogar zu veröffentlichen.
Zum Einsatz bei diesem anspruchsvollen Song kam die neueste Entwicklung der FAME-Gitarrenschmiede, die "FAME Firecat Custom" in der Krypteria-Signature-Ausführung. Das "Lautmachen" dieser kompromisslosen Edelgitarre haben der brutale" FAME Bulldozer" und die dazugehörige "FAME 4x12 Box" mit den Vintage30 Speakern übernommen. Chris Siemons über die erste Produktion mit dem neuen Gitarrenequipment: "Diese außergewöhnliche Gitarre, verbunden mit dem wohl stärksten Amp-Aggregat auf dem Markt, lässt die Gitarre praktisch von alleine spielen und reißt dir, wenn du nicht aufpasst die Hosenbeine ab!"

Following the successful release of the latest Krypteria album "All Beauty Must Die" (#24 German album charts & #6 singles charts with the BVB Championship Anthem) the band embarked on a different kind of musical endeavour based on an odd idea by guitarist Chris Siemons. They did it before kicking off their 2011/2012 world tour that will see Krypteria perform in Asia, Europe and Latin America.
For about half a year Chris had been working on a guitar shredding affair he had found on the internet before 'pestering' his band mates into recording a new version of said piece.
"Canon Rock" is based on „Kanon in D-Dur" by Johann Pachelbel (1653-1706) and turned into an internet sensation thanks to an arrangement by guitarist JerryC from Taiwan. With over 90 million clicks "Canon Rock"now is one of the most watched videos on youtube.
This acrobatic guitar variation on Pachelbel's Kanon inspired Chris to give it a try, too. It turned out to be a fun experience, which is why it was decided to publish this new version.
On these recordings Chris used the latest addition to guitar manufacturer FAME's line, the "FAME Firecat Custom Krypteria Signature Edition," powered by the menacing" FAME Bulldozer" and the "FAME 4x12 Cab" featuring the ever-popular Vintage30 Speakern.
