I cannot get the video files off the SD card shot on this camera into FCPX. In fact, my iMac will not even copy the files into a folder on the Desktop. Has anybody else encountered this challenge and found a way?

The contrast look like a camera with finger print on the lens. It miss deep black and vivd colors. Maybe its just cause by an inadequate lens hood? Specialy the lake shot.

I have not seen any primer lenses for this camera. The factory lens is good enough for me.

hi and congratulations, I would like to buy the g50, have you encountered unsmooth video issues when shooting fast zoom and pan in 4k? someone on youtube has encountered these problems ... sorry my english i am italian :)

I do not do fast zoom and pan recording, but I would suggest a tripod if you are going to do that vs hand held.

Yes, you can take photos on the touch screen - there is a photo icon. You unfortantely cannot take photos while its recording video.

Nice video. I recently purchased the G50, and have been learning how to use it in different settings. I learned that my class 10 sd cards would not work for 4k recording. Could you please post what SD card you are using, and the software you use to add audio to this clip? Thank you for posting the video, it is great!

I edit on Adobe Premiere Pro, The SD card I use is SanDisk 128GB Extreme PRO SDXC UHS-I Card - C10, U3, V30, 4K UHD

@@24mjohnson the longest I have recorded non-stop in 4K is a little over an hour and it took up just under half of the 128 GB card. The camera formats it to be one big file. It doesnt break down into a bunch of 15 min. little files . . .

Can you force 1080p out thru HDMI? Reason I ask is my atomos recorder can capture 1080 30p at 422 10 bit and I know this product outputs 422 10bit but no good if it can't reduce it to 1080p. Plus reduced output would be clean and sharp at 220mbit. This is how Canon cini cameras do it. C100 uses a 4 k sensor but crops to 1080p for a super clean 1080p signal.
