I think the Image Stabilisation was pretty easy, as well as Auto Focus Racking. Was surprised that AF Tracking on the Canon looked way better than on the Sony though.

I did it on my own throughout the video, got a 6/10 actually went better than I expected. Noticed a difference slightly in the color science but other than that very very very little differences. Great video, would love a part 2 including Nikon!

It’s super funny, I’m over here stoked and yelling as I got each one correct! I guessed on one and nailed it. The biggest difference in each shot is the hyper realism that the Sony has. You gotta get close, but you can tell the difference in overall sharpness.

Biggest giveaway with almost all of those was contrast. Sony's just have a particularly contrasted view, whether it's colour graded or not.

Cool clip with a lot of great folks. However, it's unclear what type of video file they were watching. I'm assuming they didn't actually see the original files (8K or 4K video file) but instead were looking at some kind of compressed file (perhaps uploaded to KZbin or some other platform). Compression, etc. obviously impacting the final videos. Can get complicated very quickly but just goes to show when you upload to mos social media sites anyone would be hard pressed to tell the difference. Cool video either way! Just fun!

I did really well identifying canon and Sony, sometimes I review footage I shoot on smaller screens before the full export to 4K just to see. I’ve switched from canon to Sony only due to the price drop on used Sony gear. I’d like to shoot more 4K in the future.

I got almost all of them correct. I watch the comparison video you guys did a while back and from that I learned that the Sony colors when graded remain more truetone than canon footage when it's graded. Also, when it comes on to the iris, canon colorgraded footage usually has more cyan in the eyes.

If they’re watching this on a good monitor this should’ve been relatively easy, colors and exposure were slightly brighter on most of the canon videos also, the canon R5 was slightly sharper Bc it pixel bins it’s 45 megapixels whereas the a7r iii only has about 12. If you rewatch this in 4K it becomes pretty apparent even when watching this on an iPad. That being said time constraints and pressure also played a part in this video hats off to y’all

Here is how I would do the test. Hit the record button on both. The one that overheats first is the Canon. Test two, the one that records longer than 30 minutes is the Sony.

I thought focusing on skin tones made it more manageable, I did all right on this. Pretty awesome to see Sony absolutely shine at the low light. But 12mp vs 45 is also pretty skewed for that test. You’re going to get more noise. Would have been interesting to have had them use an a1, might have been much less obvious. Although obviously that camera is a beast in low light so I don’t know. Cool video

now I know most KZbin is color blinded, the color just give a way so much even the clip is graded, the red shift on the skin tone and the green shift in the shadow is so dominant on the clip

After using Canon and Sony for a while, canon often turns out a bit brighter than my sony in some places, especially around faces. So I tried to focus at his face, just look at the hair, with canon it tends to be a bit brighter right at the hairline and around his fade where you can actually see all the hair, but the sony camera is a bit darker and crushes the darkest parts and the hair isn't as visible , (it adds a bit contrast), in almost all the tests. I got 8 out of 10 cus I couldn't tell at test 6 & 10 ! This was really fun!

I only was able to get 3 or four right, and it was only due to Canons’s autofocus their crop factor and Sony having more of a detailed look in slow-mo, other than that, I couldn’t tell.
