Interesting. Idk how to feel about new ult. Old ult was ability damage so it can damage shen and nilah abilities to be immune to basic attack damage. Now rework warwik will have to either wait for them to use that ability or not go after them at all. His old ultimate was also a good form of cc; now he cant cc anyone.

@samuyu Exactly! It's so simple, but Riot prefers to do something different instead of listening to what the OTPs have to say. With these changes, I think they dug a grave for the champion at the top. Most of the trades you made after cutting healing against other champions (like Sett and Darius) consisted of using fear before being grabbed and beaten indefinitely. I'm sad about what they did to the champion, I don't think I'll be able to play him in the baron lane anymore.

Yep changes for the sake of changes. None of these changes were necessary except for maybe the ult but even that got nerfed into the ground to compensate for the extra utility. The way that wild rift works makes most of these changes the opposite of QoL. You tend to spam the ability button to use an ability so now his 3rd will be annoying to use. Depending on how sensitive the swipe is for his first ability you could easily latch around when you don’t mean to. His 2nd ability was the only thing that actually got outright buffed but it’s just cheeky stuff that doesn’t really affect anything.

Sure, it's not fun as before but it makes him viable in heavy CC comp, I have never seen a WW used all of his ult attack if the enemy has good support or enemy is using quicksilver or repulsor. The problem is he will get bursted if people keep building him full AD to be like assassin, which Warwick is not.

It is not easier to hit. The old ult was instant and supressed for 1.5 seconds. New ult has a long animation for some reason and then you still have to auto do supress for only 0.6 seconds. They reduced the ult cc by 66% and made that anyone can just flash away, dash, or stun you because now you need to do an auto attack for no goddam reason. Plus the current ult supresses no matter what, since new ult cc is tied to an auto attack, he will not be able to cc nilah, shen, or teemo
