Was not familiar with this song--you do such a beautiful job with it! Happy that you were able to collaborate with John--sounds like he enjoyed the experience as well--what a great experience!

Absolutely beautiful! Love the band, love you Ges! No disrespect intended. I had the biggest crush on Linda Ronstadt, I guess you're my new crush now lol. I sang for many years, but unfortunately due to getting up there in age I just don't have to stamina to get up on stage anymore. I totally enjoy your music though, and can't wait for you to come back up into the New England area. Particularly New Hampshire 😁❤️

This is fantastic! Great music, great video and in wonderful voice as usual. John's still "got it" after all these years. A few of us still remember him from the early days as a pioneer. There are so many songs I wished Linda had recorded and this was one of them. I had no idea it was ever considered. Can't think of anyone else besides Linda who could do it like Gesenia has. I am looking forward to more like this (fingers crossed). Maybe John could guest appear once in a while?

@@RonstadtRevue There is another song that Linda had in her act in 1972 but she never recorded it unfortunately. I don't want to be presumptuous but you might want to consider it. Linda was a big JJ Cale fan and she turned me onto his music. The song is somewhat obscure and Linda did it in a real "soulful" way similar to the way Ges already sings. The song is Don't Go To Strangers. kzbin.info/www/bejne/mYmwapuNd9ODgtE

@@robtempe Wow Rob! That’s a great song. Thank you for sharing it with us. Yes, we’ll absolutely consider this one. John has been great to work with and yes, we are definitely going to keep working together. Hopefully we’ll have the opportunity to perform this song live.
