That's great I could never learn Mick Taylor's guitar till now. Thank you

I'm surprised that more people don't realize that this is a backing track, hence the reason why Keith's guitar is missing.

what band is this covering the rolling stones?

I think its wavegroup. This sounds like the GH2 version cause it doesnt have the sax solo as well.

get a grip people! It's just something to practice Keef with. Get that open G tuning without the top E string and you can play slide as well. It's fun. Who cares if it's not the Stones, that's not the point.

edit: Ok, so this version starts on the 1-and of the 2nd bar. This is so strange. You're supposed to start Keef's part on the 4-And (on the "and/upbeat" of the 4th downbeat) but the gap between the next riff that starts on an upbeat takes way too long compared to the record. The small annoying thing about the record is, you don't get a count in, but that very first riff ends on a downbeat. So you know the start of the 2nd riff is on the "and" of the next-immediate downbeat.

One night at one of my solo gigs, a punter asked scornfully: How much of what we hear is you, and how much is the backing track? So I selected All Right Now by Free, and let the backing track play up to the first chorus. He started looking, I dunno, embarrassed that he'd asked me, so with no further ado, I said: Now here's what you hear . . and proceeded to play the song as usual. Next up was Still Got The Blues by Gary Moore. I asked him if he suspected me of miming the guitar part . . I mean: It's Gary Moore, after all. So I let the intro run and it was real sparse, then I set it back to the beginning and let 'er rip! Now I had a major competitor, well, actually a sworn enemy trying to push me out of the industry, who used to be a pretty good guitarist. But not good enough, it turned out. He mimed all the really difficult songs that he was best known for, but he did it so well that folks used to swear black was white that it was really him playing them. Come on! Toccata by Bach is too difficult for a pub and club hack to play note perfect every time, yet there he was . . miming to the CD of Sky performing it with John Williams on guitar.

Hey I do not know if you still follow this channel's comments but how do you actually isolate parts of a song? I would love to be able to do this myself.
@maikata3292 жыл бұрын
If you remember Google Hacks, I found that searching for MP3’s a long time ago. Can’t remember the site but it was literally someone’s file collection. So, I didn’t isolate it.

Sorry, again, not real. At 39 seconds, the real song lyric is "Cocaine eyes" which is very distinct. There is no "S" sound in the word before "eyes" as there is in this version -- this sounds like he's saying "Smoking eyes" While well done, it is not authentic.

maikata329, whether it's intentional or not, both of these videos are lies. Please take them down or edit them to be labeled as the truth. Neither one is authentic. And the Guitar Pro audio does not match the original guitar part anyway. Embarrassing.
