MHW Iceborne | Brachydios solo Dual Blades gameplay (first encounter)

Since someone has voiced concerns about possible spoilers in one of my previous videos because I got an early copy I figured I'd take this opportunity to let you all know that I'm planning to focus on uploading my first hunts of monsters that have already been announced before the release like Glavenus, Brachy, Zin etc. I'm not sure how I'll handle the unannounced monsters yet but if I do upload videos of them, I'll make sure to hide their name and appearance from the title/thumbnail. That is probably going to hurt the visibility of those videos but I'll take that over taking away the surprise from you all. For the record, I'm not going to stay spoiler free until January next year so if you want to stay spoiler free for that long, I suggest you unsub for now. I will only avoid spoilers for the first 2 weeks of IB's console release

I feel like they need to adjust the vertical range on the slime puddles. I've seen several videos where the player clutched onto Brachydios who happened to stand above a slime puddle and they ended up getting slimed despite clearly not touching the slime.

High Rank armor vs Master Rank damage. These numbers are to be expected. He had 475 defense to be exact. Go for non-upgraded Glavenus armor and you roughly have 650 armor without even adding the inventory charms. The difference in defense is quite noticable. I cannot speak for Canta, but the reason for using High Rank armor most likely goes back to the fact that his sets are already tuned and/or at the time of recording he hasn't had the time to farm mixed set pieces yet.

Can Brachy still damage itself with the explosion? I believed back in the old day, Brachy would sometimes accidentally killed itself in its own attack.

The power run barely counts since it’s not an actual attack and doesn’t even lead into anything: When looking at the speed of Brachy’s actual attacks, it honestly looks about even with 4th gen G-Rank Brachy.

Sticky puddles only come from the slime on his horn. They're the ones that are already pretty much red and look bubbled up.
