Another good episode, well done. there are a few Heli operators who have concessions to land/drop off in there, I’m surprised you didn’t see more parties in there, 15 shots WTF was that all about! I’m pretty sure it’s a no dog area to for future reference, the NZ Hunter team got slapped by doc a few years ago for it.

Hey Tony Thanks for that. Yeah we spotted 6 other parties on the tops. Ill check my hunting permit again as I thought it was ok if they had avian aversion training. Thanks for your comment mate.

stopped watching after the small stag was shot that could have been left for next couple of years. What a waste, for what exactly?

If you wanted a feed why would you shoot a young stag and not a hind , the problem these days is that theres so many stupid hunters out there that dont give a shit about the future and letting young stags grow into trophy class wall hangers , no one should shoot one unless its a MATURE 12 pointer + not a little young 12 pointer that left to go a couple more years will turn out to be a cracker, why would you want a pissy little 8 pointer , i watched one group of guys that got dropped off into fiorland and shot every single stag they saw the pieces of shit , they had the mentality of a door knob , we aren't ever coming back here let's kill everything instead of letting them mature and there's way too many mannabe hunters out there that think like this and act like this , my first ever deer was a monster 13 point wap x red with bases like a beer can and i set the bar high because I wouldn't shoot anything that was smaller than it but I only have 4 heads on the wall , passed heaps up but this is why it's getting harder and harder to find quality heads and I have never been to a pay property because I think it's bullshit hunting a animal in a paddock.. pppfftt

You do realise that are more now great heads than there has been for years in plenty of areas. Southland/fiordland different story with too many deer so less available tucker so shitter heads.
@ridetillidieharleyyamaha40632 жыл бұрын
@@wolfferguson1293 it has nothing to do with tucker because there's plenty , not in a drought and nothing but dust ...
@wolfferguson12932 жыл бұрын
@@ridetillidieharleyyamaha4063 tucker has everything thing with size of heads. Why do you think back in the day the biggest heads were shot. They where expanding range and had unlimited food. You can see with certain west coast valley with overpopulation of tahr all the tahr had small heads because all the good foods gone.
