Brachiosaurus is depicted how it is because it was originally thought that there was a second species in Africa that’s been renamed to Giraffatitan because we found more proper specimens in North America showing the two were actually different enough to be separate genera.

Half-Life 2(2004) had realistic physics and that was almost 20 years ago! I don't think it's a matter of if they're capable of designing a more realistic combat system but more a matter of if they want to spend the time and resources to. Never said it was easy but it's definitely doable.
