My wife and I were in tears tonight (Christmas night) listening to this blessed choir praising the Lord and singing so beautifully. This was the ultimate Christmas blessing for us through this entire Advent season. Even though we are old and our children cannot be with us, Christ is and we praise His Holy Name. Her voice is lovely but she wasn't projecting it very much and maybe I'm wrong but I think she was concentrating on pronunciation and execution rather than allowing her feelings for the lyrics to be expressed which is what I like in worship music.

I've searched You-tube high and low for years for renditions of Oh Holy Night, and this by far, the best that I've found. If it raises the hairs on the back of your neck, or brings you to tears, it does it's job. And this version DOES BOTH!! Thanks so much for posting. We in the West could take a lesson from these folks, the choirmaster, the soloists, the orchestra, everything!! This is by far my favourite carol!!

If angels exist this is what I would expect them to sound like a most HEAVENLY SOUND of male and female voices in PERFECT PERFECT HARMONY! The first two hit the stratosphere, and when she tried to follow suit, she encountered some turbulence in the atmosphere. Atmospheric pressure. 🙂
