The Tartar Princess presents the captured Song General DiQing to her father, the Tartar King who wants to execute him for encroaching upon their territory. But the Princess is in love with the young general, and hints at her feelings for the new prisoner. She wants her father to give his assent to her marriage.
The ZhangJiang Cantonese Opera Company of GuangZhou 湛江粤剧团 on 1st July 2012 at the Kreta Ayer Peoples' Theatre, Singapore, featuring the well-known Cantonese opera xiaosheng 梁兆明,with daoma dan 梁燕飞.
