Canton McKinley at Avon - 2024 | Full Game Highlights + Chaotic 4th Q

McKinley had 2 TD's taken away in a disappointing 21-14 loss at Avon.
The second TD that was taken away would have tied the game in the 4th and has been proved to be the wrong call in hindsight after reviewing film.
McKinley prepares itself for an opponent from Michigan after this loss.

@@Bbaker97 it just gets worse the more I see it. But McKinley still after all that had a minute and 30 seconds to get a TD and couldnt move the ball. McKinley always plays emotionally. I just hope they can bounce back

@@pablotoniolo359 Avon would have had 4 turnovers had the obvious fumble TD not been called back. 2 refs signaled a TD on that play and someone overuled the call despite it being the obvious correct call. Disgusting. We knew we were in for a joke when the 1st TD was taken away. Good luck at a neutral site.

I know you’re a little biased I am too(McK grad here). But were the penalties as bad as it seemed? Meaning were they throwing the flags and then looking for the penalty or were they mostly all actual penalties?

@@espyajp23 we thought the first half was fairly officiated. McK gets too many penalties too often. But the 2 TDs called back were ridiculous. The first was "hands to the face" / "facemask" which is hilariously never called. There was even one year where Massillon RB committed an offensive facemask going into the endzone but it was not called. Photo made the front page of the Repository. In the clip, you can see that the lineman actually never commits a facemask. But Im willing to admit I only have one angle on the play. The 2nd TD called back was NO DOUBT A FUMBLE. The QB is facing his side and spikes the ball. Thats a fumble. Any throw to the direct side or behind the side of the QB is a fumble. That hill, I will stand on. The same rule is why dropped passes behind the QB is a fumble.
