Best performance of this piece, without question. The resonance in their voices, the deep bass and high tenor, beautiful bel canto blend, and world class timbre is something admirably spectacular. Bravo! Wish I could track down the version they did on MPR back in the day with Erick Lichte and Brian Newhouse where they all just go "Mmmmhmmm" at the ending harmonic resolve.

Beautiful! And the note that never ends. I sing first tenor, though not that high. I can't imagine the lungs of steel it takes to hold a note that long. Wow!

They always do such a fabulous job, I just love their singing. FYI when I sang this SATB, three of us sang that long held out note and alternated breathing, so we sounded seamless. Perhaps here one guy did it, but perhaps 2...

@@krishnafeldman362 part of me doubts that this was the case here, as the arrangement is 8 parts and there would be no one else to cover. Incredible control!

@@joey-pace It's definitely the case here. 2 of them are holding the "oo" shape throughout that sustained note, so essentially they've just got a really solid arrangement of when to breathe. You can kind of hear when the frequencies aren't 100% matching as the other joins thee "oo" and then evens out Also, this is a TTBB arrangement lol Still incredible control though
