can you suggest other programs that can open pdf like powerpoint? or alternate program for powerpoint that is free? :D

Canva allows you to import PDF files. You might want to check out this video here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/iYu1pJZol6qcpqM I'm not exactly sure what you'd like to do that requires powerpoint but you can also create presentation slides in Canva or google slides
